John G. Nelson and Alexander D. Thomson have been practicing together in Whittier since 1960. After 18 years with a former firm, they formed the present firm in 1978. The firm has developed a strong regional client base representing a broad range of closely held businesses as well as nationally recognized nonprofit associations.
The firm's attorneys are divided into two general practice areas. One attorney handles transactional and tax matters, including negotiation and documentation of business and real estate sales, advising nonprofit associations, estate planning, and probate and trust administration. One attorney handles primarily business and real estate litigation, including corporate and partnership dissolutions, contract disputes, and construction and commercial litigation.
